Hey! Here's where we stayed in Interlaken, Switzerland last weekend thanks to our travel buddy, Maggie. She had no idea how awesome a view we'd have each morning for breakfast. We definitely scored! The hotel had lots of character. Our large room consisted of 4 twin beds (which made it feel more like a hostel, but we were comfortable), a little wooden deck, and an assortment of windows which allowed for great light and ample fresh air. We had fun sitting out at night during a small thunderstorm, watching the night sky brighten with each crack of lighting and feeling the large drops of rain fall from above. Traveling in foreign places allows for many ups and downs, and we were happy to have a great experience at the Waldhotel. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was tasty and filling, the proximity to Gimmelwald was grand, and the view was exquisite. I'd recommend this place to anyone!
